Privacy Policy

How we handle the information you share with us. Written plainly, the way we would want it explained to us.

Effective July 13, 2026
01

Who we are

FirmSideAI is an AI consulting firm based in Newark, Delaware, at the University of Delaware FinTech Innovation Hub. This policy explains what information we collect through firmsideai.com, including our contact and free-look forms and our newsletter, and how we use and protect it. Questions about anything here can go straight to mark@firmsideai.com.

02

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a contact or free-look form, or subscribe to the newsletter, we collect what you provide, typically your name, your email address, and whatever you choose to write in your message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our host records standard technical data such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and the pages you visit. We use this only to keep the site working and to understand which content is useful. We do not use advertising trackers or sell behavioral data.

03

How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiry and follow up on a conversation you started.
  • To send you the newsletter, if and only if you asked for it.
  • To understand which content and tools are helpful, so we can improve them.
  • To keep the site secure and functioning.

We do not use your information for anything you would not reasonably expect from a firm you contacted.

04

How we share it

We do not sell your information, and we never will. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the site and communicate with you, such as our website host and our email delivery provider, and only to the extent they need it to do that job. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

05

Cookies and analytics

We keep this light. We may use essential cookies and privacy-respecting analytics to measure general traffic. We do not use cross-site advertising cookies. Most browsers let you refuse cookies in their settings if you prefer.

06

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions and email correspondence for as long as we need them to help you and to maintain our own business records, and no longer than is reasonable. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.

07

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any issue. You can also ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing mark@firmsideai.com. We will honor reasonable requests promptly.

08

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, and we work with reputable providers who do the same. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we treat your data with the care we would want for our own.

09

Children

Our website and services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

10

Links to other sites

Our site may link to other websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies before sharing information with them.

11

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. When we do, we will revise the effective date above, and for material changes we will make a reasonable effort to flag them on this page.
